Have you ever tried cooking brussels sprouts with leeks?  Chop the sprouts in  half, slice up some leeks and you are ready to go. Saute the leeks in olive oil still soft- add brussels sprouts in with some real butter. Saute over medium  heat until sprouts turn BRIGHT green. Next lower the heat, add chicken broth, about 1/2 inch in pan. Add salt and pepper. Cover and cook until soft. Enjoy!! Your kids will love them this way!!

You will find our fresh locally grown organic produce at all the SCCFM's- Downtown, Westside Santa Cruz, Live Oak, Felton, and Scotts Valley. In addition we are at the Cabrillo Farmer's Markets on Saturday mornings.

Pumpkin Patch Opens Oct. 1st!!

Pumpkins and fun are what it's all  about! Come roam through the fields of pumpkins. There are so many varieties to choose from!  We have great picnic sites, hay bales and scary cutouts!!  We also have fresh Brussels sprouts on the stalk, corn stalks, and gourds. Pumpkins are priced by size, not weight.  Schools are welcome but please arrange ahead of time.
